Telecom & Utilities
Power and connectivity fail together.
Internet endpoints going dark in a district is an early, independent signal of a power outage. An application example for electricity utilities and emergency managers.
Application example
Problem
A utility learns the extent of an outage from its own telemetry and from calls; neither reaches every district at once.
What KASPR adds
- Outage detection and restoration tracking at district resolution, without any utility telemetry.
- An independent signal to set beside the grid’s own.
- The same series the regulators and newsrooms see.
Proof
A proposed application: it needs a validated case before it is presented as proven.
CommercialsIndicative

Data view
Saint Lucia: endpoints going dark in Choiseul, April 2026
Daily endpoints online against the frozen baseline, thirty days either side of the collapse. Days with a thin baseline stay blank rather than filled in. Data through 2026-07-16.
Application example: a proposed application, not a validated case.
What we are not
We measure latency and jitter to KASPR’s measurement infrastructure. We do not measure user throughput, radio parameters (RSRP, SINR) or voice quality (MOS). We are a complementary layer, not a replacement for apps or probes.
